I have been teaching Special Education for 20 years and am currently teaching in
the Resource Room. I joined Midland School in 2002 and have had experience teaching
both Resource Room, In Class Support and Self Contained classrooms. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology,
a Master's Degree in Special Education and also my LDT-C certification.
The mission for the Resource Room is that students will be able to learn in a positive
environment which is individualized towards each student's IEP. The students learn in
a small group environment which allows them immediate access to teacher assistance
and input while learning their reading,language arts and math skills at a level which
is appropriate for their needs.
